shonaSHONA WATT is known for her work for festivals and large public events but her hand made groups of silk flags also look fabulous as one-off pieces to enliven a garden or to 'flag-up' special events. She works internationally on a large scale but also appreciates that her work can animate and enliven a private outdoor space. After attending Ravensbourne College of Art she received a Northern Arts Award(1996)and a Craft Council Award (1997). Major commissions include The Millennium Footbridge, Hungerford Footbridge, The London Eye and Melbourne Museum, Australia.
