This is evident in her studio, which is full of old glass jars filled with seed heads, fallen leaves and dead insects. Her pieces are made by making moulds for natural forms like bees, beetles, twigs and sycamore leaves and then filling the remaining cavity with solid silver and gold, creating an exact replica of the original found object which she assembles into unique and wearable jewellery. She often combines precious metals with moonstones, labradorite, pearls, opals and diamonds, making complex and striking jewellery. Lucy was awarded the 2011 Silver Award for Craft and Design and was the 2009 Editors Choice at Country Living Fair, London. Also beloved of Vogue, Tatler and Country Living readers in which magazines her work has featured.
